This curated box set explores Pinot Noir in the hinterlands of Mendocino County – two different growing regions, both eight miles from the coast and outside of the better-known Anderson Valley AVA.

Up in the Comptche AVA, Oppenlander Vineyard is low elevation, cool-climate coastal Pinot Noir with layers of intense red fruit, black tea, and minerality. And down the coast, but very high at 2400' elevation, Mariah Vineyard in the Mendocino Ridge AVA rises above the fog line to deliver a brambly, dry-farmed, mountaintop essence of Pinot Noir.

This four pack gives you an opportunity to try two wines from each region, and two different vintages:
